Recently, we began initiating our underwriter review of TeleLife applications following receipt of the signed application; previously, underwriter review did not occur until we received a receipt of both the application and the laboratory results (for fully underwritten cases).
This new process will result in quicker review of TeleLife applications, ultimately allowing Protective Life to insure clients in a more efficient and timely manner. In addition, this enhancement will provide faster resolution of not-in-good-order (NIGO) issues and expedited requirement ordering.
This improvement to our TeleLife process, coupled with the enhanced security measures made to E-Signature, will enable our Underwriting and New Business teams to more quickly request any additional information or requirements needs to ensure streamlined and timely policy approval, issue and placement.
