As technology evolves, we continue to automate more of our business processes to help speed up cycle times and move business more seamlessly through our systems. Here are just a few improvements we’ve made – and some others that you can expect to see soon.
Text Message Reminders for Electronic Policy Delivery: When a policy is ready for electronic policy delivery, clients will now receive a text message reminder that will guide them to our Online Customer Service website to review and accept their policy – getting their attention more quickly and keeping the process moving.
Automating Pre-Underwriting Processes: You can now move TeleLife® cases into underwriting more quickly, thanks to automating select administrative tasks.
Automating Issue: Automatically issuing Protective Classic ChoiceSM term and Protective Custom ChoiceSM UL cases after approval or offer acceptance.
Automatic Offer Acceptance from Pending Business Site: When cases are approved less than applied, Protective will email you when an offer is available. After logging into MyProtective, you can review the offer and either accept it, or request that the file be closed within our pending business site. You will also have the ability to request changes, such as decreasing the face amount. This allows you to take immediate action to review, accept and send your files directly to the issue team within minutes.
Interview Scheduler for TeleLife Interviews: When agents submit a ticket through EZ-AppSM, they will be able to select a date and time for the interview to take place. This new enhancement will increase interview completion rates by allowing agents to set better expectations with clients.
New Features on Pending Business Website: We’re in the process of making several new improvements to our pending business website, including:
- An improved APS Status tab to include real-time, detailed updates for any APS ordered by Protective.
- APS status updates included in our feeds to third-party aggregators.
- Customer e-mail addresses will be available
Special Authorization Form Access: Special Authorization Forms will soon be available in the Documents tab when viewing policy details. This special authorization form allows permission for Protective to access key medical records as part of a client’s application.
